I wish international governments were actually doing their job of pressuring corrupt nations to clean up their act. Most of the time these international governments are pushing their economic agenda more than trying to help these corrupt nations. If the "world police" is corrupt, then really what chances do these corrupt nations have?
This is my first semester as an MPH student in the Keck School of Medicine at the University of Southern California. I am taking a class called Emerging Trends in Global Health, and this will be my week to week journal of thoughts I am having concerning the issues brought up and discussed in class. Hopefully, by the end of this course, I will have much more direction concerning the ways in which I want to participate in the field of public health.
